Shipping charges include complimentary gift wrapping and gift messaging. Orders received by 1pm Pacific time ship the same business day. We ship from Seattle, WA and our shipping partner is FedEx. We offer a number of shipping options.

Tax Information
CareGifting orders are taxable within Washington state. If tax is due, it will be included with your order total at checkout. Orders shipped outside of Washington are not taxable.

Refund, Returns and Cancellation Policies:

Refunds and returns are provided for new, unused merchandise. Simply contact us for a return shipping label. Once the item arrives back at our store we will credit your card for the item amount (sorry, we cannot refund the original shipping charge).

Q: Do you deliver to hospitals and nursing homes? Yes. For hospital orders we recommend selecting expedited delivery at checkout - either overnight, 2 or 3 day depending on how long the person is expected to be in the hospital. If you aren't sure how long the person will be staying in the hospital, it's a good idea to ship to the person's home address or to someone nearby who can take the gift to the hospital when they visit. If the gift arrives at the hospital after the patient has been discharged, a $10 FedEx forwarding fee is charged to forward the gift to a second address.

Q: Do I have to register with PayPal to pay for my order? No. PayPal is our credit card processor and does not require registration. You are welcome to use your PayPal account, or simply click 'Continue' at the bottom of the checkout screen and enter your credit card information without registering for Paypal. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Q: Can I include a gift message? Yes. At checkout, you will be prompted to enter a personalized gift message. Your message will be printed on a beautiful vellum tag and inserted into a signature CareGifting card.

Q: Is gift wrapping included? Yes. All of our orders are shipped gift-wrapped. Our gift collections include a custom gift bag. If you decide to build your own gift by adding individual items to the shopping cart, you can also select a gift tote or gift bag to hold the items by clicking on the 'totes and bags' link from the left side navigation menu. If you decide not to include a gift bag, don't worry. Your items will be beautifully packaged and nestled inside the box for shipping.

Q: What’s the difference between a CareGifting Collection and a typical get well gift basket or flowers? Traditional get well gift baskets are almost solely focused on salty food with loads of carbs and sugar. People who are healing often can’t tolerate the carbohydrates, salt and artificial ingredients that are usually in these gift baskets. Flowers, also a traditional gift, aren’t proactive — the patient can’t actually use them to help the healing process. They can also set off allergic reactions. CareGifting is dedicated to providing a unique twist on the gift basket by offering gift bags and products that recipients can actually use to assist in comfort and healing such as:

• Natural balm for dry lips that often result from pain medications, chemotherapy and dehydration
• Water bottle with non-skid gripping band and built-in straw, to assist with hydration
• A journal and pen to take along to doctor’s appointments to take notes or track medication schedules
